Stylebistro went backstage at Christian Siriano's Spring 2012 show to talk with Christian about his inspiration for the collection and get Heidi Klum's insight on the talented designer. The former Project Runway winner was not without his loyal famous following in attendance. A vivacious Heidi Klum showed up in one of the designer's frocks, accompanied by a chic Nina Garcia. "From the beginning when I met him I knew that he had something, you know you can tell now, he's just a very, very special person," Heidi said of Siriano before the presentation, "He has a great personality, he's super nice, he's humble—not always, but he can be humble, too—and he just has it." While Siriano's vibrant hues and delectable frothy confections were right on par, our favorite pieces were his sleek high-waisted silk mermaid skirts paired with casual tees and his sweetly sophisticated crisp white shirt dress worn with a tiny chartreuse belt.
