Christopher Stephen Botti or Chris Botti [BOH-tee] (born October 12, 1962) is an American trumpeter and composer. Born in Portland, Oregon and raised in Corvallis, Oregon, he spent two years of his childhood growing up in Italy. His earliest musical influence was his mother, a classically trained pianist and part-time piano teacher. He plays a Martin Committee Handcraft trumpet made in 1940, and uses a 3 silver plated mouthpiece from Bach made in 1926, having recently retired his 1920 3C Bach mouthpiece. He counts Miles Davis among his most significant influences. Botti attended Mount Hood Community College in Gresham, Oregon where he studied under Larry McVey whose renowned jazz program had come to be a regular stop for Stan Kenton and Mel Tormé when they were looking for new players. It was here he played alongside his friend, trombonist and future Academy Award nominated filmmaker, Todd Field. After leaving Mount Hood, Botti studied under David Baker and Bill Adam at Indiana University.

You're an awesome engineer! :) It was great working with you! www.DaveDarlington.com Set Fire To The Rain - Lyrics "Set Fire To The Rain" I let it fall, my heart, And as it fell you rose to claim it It was dark and I was over Until you kissed my lips and you saved me My hands, they're strong But my knees were far too weak To stand in your arms Without falling to your feet But there's a side to you That I never knew, never knew. All the things you'd say They were never true, never true, And the games you play You would always win, always win. [Chorus But I set fire to the rain, Watched it pour as I touched your face, Well, it burned while I cried 'Cause I heard it screaming out your name, your name! When laying with you I could stay there Close my eyes Feel you here forever You and me together Nothing is better 'Cause there's a side to you That I never knew, never knew, All the things you'd say, They were never true, never true, And the games you play You would always win, always win. [Chorus:] But ...

www.Alfred.TV READ ME FIRST The intro is VERY long. Let it buffer for 5 minutes to skip directly to the Lisa demo. Filmed in 1984, Alfred (yes, that's me) demonstrates the $10000 Apple Lisa computer on a tri-state cable channel. This was a very early 'mass introduction' to a system that had a graphical user interface, icons, pull down menus, and a rodential input device called 'a mouse.' (x2) So silent, no violence But inside my head, so loud and clear Youre screaming, you're screaming Covered up with a smile, I've learned to fear Just sunshine and blue sky Is this all we get, for living here Come fire, come fire Let it burn and love come racing through Ooh, Still Alive, I'm Still Alive I cannot apologize, no. (x2) I've learned to lose I've learned to win I've turned my face against the wind I will move fast I will move slow take me away I have to go Ooh, Still Alive, I'm Still Alive I cannot apologize, no. (x4) Best regards Patrick Weygan Friis
