The Olympus E5 has gone to the movies. In carrying out a test review of the E5 in Iceland I have put together this short movie showing the camera's HD capabilities. Olympus E5 in the freezer on Christmas day, UK. The record breaking cold snap paralysing the country (embarrassingly!). Air temps down to -10C. I have always wanted to capture a time lapse of a freeze in action. The E5 was a perfect tool for the set. I set up the Olympus E3 powered via external cable and armed with a home made dew shield to shoot time lapse (via external controller) all night. With the aid of a simple torch pointing on the E5 I was able to capture over 5000 exposures during an all night shoot of the E5 freezing over. Both E3 & E5 cameras working fine next morning.
